IOnet archiving offers one solution for several issues : mail journaling, mail archiving and archiving of Notes databases. Although all of this can be done by Domino itself, IONet offers an easy to use tool for a very fair price. Combined with DAOS it really reduces the amount of data on my mail cluster ( Archive-server is a separate server ). No need to bother users to clean up their mailbox or database,users can be send a mail to migrate their local archive to the archive server and users are still able to see their archived mail (stub)in their mailbox. This works with iNotes as well. The only point of attention is the ACL of the databases and mail encryption. The support of IOnet/Lialis is good.
